Throughout my tenure as your resident desktop traveler I’ve learned so much about the beautiful destinations available for an affordable vacation and I thank you for giving me your feedback along the way. It is with both excitement and hesitation that I announce this will be my last correspondence to you. I am feeling excited because I am moving on professionally (and may finally get to travel to some exotic destinations!) and feeling hesitant because I have enjoyed every minute of writing this blog and will certainly miss it.
Along the way I’ve visited so many places from the comfort of my cube (note the sarcasm) and gotten to speak with my knowledgeable colleagues about the points of interest in these various locales which has been my favorite part of the job. Getting to hear first hand about a great travel experience enables us to plan the best possible vacations for ourselves and I hope this blog has enabled you to do just that. So I say good bye for now and know that my successor will continue the stationary explorations I’ve enjoyed for over a year now.
