Travel Insider Talks to the W Los Angeles Westwood
March 11, 2010
The Travel Insider Live would like to introduce Natalia Aldacour from the W Los Angeles Westwood in sunny California.
The W brand is world-famous for offering a glamorous, hip hotel product in trendy locations around the globe. What makes your hotel stand out from the rest of the Ws out there as well as other hotels of the same caliber?
Natalia Aldacour: Location, Location, Location!! We are just a few minutes away from Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills, where celebrities and pop stars mingle and wine and dine.
Sandra Robbins: Everyone knows how exciting Los Angeles is, but not everyone has heard of the Westwood section. Can you describe why a tourist would want to stay in this area?
Natalia Aldacour: Absolutely! We are in the center of Los Angeles, 10 minutes from the Santa Monica area, 5 minutes from Rodeo Drive, walking distance form shops, restaurants and theaters. And just 25 minutes away from the airport. It’s nice to know that in LA, the city where no one walks, you actually have the option to do so, be safe and enjoy the glamorous life.
Sandra Robbins: With the award shows coming up soon, like the Oscars, does your hotel feed off the energy of Hollywood events like this? Is the hotel a good locale for star gazing?
Natalia Aldacour: Of course. Interestingly enough, most of the events are not in the Hollywood area, but in Beverly Hills. (W Los Angeles, is a place that they come to blend in but if you keep your eyes open you will spot them.
Sandra Robbins: Of course, there is so much to enjoy in the Los Angeles area—nightlife, dining, museums, beaches, theme parks, shopping—what do you recommend to guests do when visiting your city if they are only there for less than a week if the average length of stay is six days?
Natalia Aldacour: Well, I would say “See the best that Los Angeles is known for” Shop (or window shop) in Rodeo Drive, enjoy the Santa Monica Beaches, walk, wine and dine on Robertson, discover and enjoy the beautiful Getty Museum against a backdrop of dramatic architecture, tranquil gardens, and breathtaking views; just 10 minutes from W Los Angeles and if you stay with us over the weekend, Beverly Hills offers on of the most diverse Farmers Market., ride your bike on the Venice boulevard as you watch the crowds.
Sandra Robbins: Are there any good offers out there for the W Los Angeles Westwood available to travelers this year through Travel Impressions?
Natalia Aldacour: Absolutely! We have promotions for families, honeymooners and for the ones just want to relax and take some time off. All our rooms are suites, so they are guaranteed a wonderful room.
Sandra Robbins: Thank you, Natalia, for this insightful look into the W Los Angeles Westwood as well as the City of Angels herself.
