This month, our newsletter features interesting alternate travel possibilities during the winter season for travelers that are looking for something other than a tropical getaway.
One of TI’s newest destinations, New Orleans, is a great example. Of course, the Crescent City is famous for its year-round festivity, its Cajun/Creole cooking and its musical heritage. Everyone seems to have fun in New Orleans every time, but only in winter can your clients take part in Mardi Gras – the citywide party to end all parties.
This month TI is also featuring “winter in Europe” promotions in both this newsletter and on the website. Winter is a great time to take advantage of significantly lower rates and no lines at great museums and cultural sites. Also, there are great seasonal events like the beautiful European Christmas markets, Carnival in Venice and, of course, terrific theater in London. Short stay three/four day weekend getaways to major European capitals are both popular and easy.
