Alice Springs

In the center of the Northern Territory is Alice Springs, a spirited bush town that grew from humble beginnings. “The Alice,” as locals call it, has since grown into a modern town that wears its Outback heritage proudly.

Because of its central location and its nearby red colored rock formations and the red sand desert area, the town is also called the Red Centre. It has some wonderful sights to explore, such as the telegraph station, the botanical garden and the Spencer and Gillen museum. This rollicking town is also a day trip from the iconic attractions of Uluru-Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and several nature parks.
